Every tool is read-only (readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false, idempotentHint: true). No tool books, pays, sends or changes anything.
search_listings: {status, site, total, page, per_page, pages, returned, has_more, notes, affiliate_disclosure, listings[]}; each listing has public fields only (id, name, url, description, address, geo, phone, website, hours, photos, and any booking links). get_listing: {status, site, affiliate_disclosure, listing} with the full description and FAQ. list_categories: {status, total, categories[{id, slug, name, description, listing_count}]}.
Listings come live from the 1-800Deals public listings API (1-800deals.com/api/directory/v1); only published listings and public fields are served (never emails, owner or account details). Listings are not paid placements and are never ranked by commission. Any link marked affiliate:true and sponsored:true is an affiliate link: Cloudalien Technologies LLC (operator of 1-800Deals) may earn a commission at no extra cost to the user. Call or visit the business to confirm services, prices and availability.

Error messages never include upstream response bodies, credentials or stack traces. /v1/health checks the listings API live and reports ok, or unavailable (HTTP 503) when it does not answer.
60 REST requests per minute per IP (best effort). Results are cached briefly: categories 1 h, searches and listings 5 min.
